Nature Heals!

The ultimate in ultra-moisturizing for skin conditions such as eczema or Rosacea! The symptoms of eczema include excessively dry, red, itchy, scaly skin that may even burn. The goal in providing relief from eczema is primarily to prevent itching, inflammation and hydrate the skin. This is all-natural, all-body product and is safe to use on your body, hands, and face.

Nature Soothes!

Glacier Soaps’ Calendula Soap helps balance the skin to allow it to absorb the ultra-moisturizing properties of shea and cocoa butters leaving skin soft and soothed. Avacado Oil also provides relief from inflamed skin by hydrating the irritated area. Calendula flower petals (marigold) provide natures superior healing properties including reducing inflammation, soothing irritated tissue and increasing circulation.

FAQs
Do you test on animals? Are your products vegan?

No, we NEVER test on animals, nor do we use any animal ingredients.

Are natural handcrafted soaps good for skin conditions such as eczema and Rosacea?

Yes. Skin conditions such as eczema and rosacea exhibit extremely dry, itchy skin and should never be exposed to exfoliants, food colouring or scents. Glacier Soaps’ skincare products are specially formulated with ultra-moisturizing shea and cocoa butters. The calendula flower petals or calendula infused rice bran oil offer natures healing power to reduce inflammation, soothing irritated and itchy skin.

Does your soap contain lye?

All soap contains sodium hydroxide (lye), the ingredient responsible for converting natural oils to soap. It is important to note that no sodium hydroxide is left in the final product. Natural lye soaps leaves us with a greener environment.

What is Shea butter and what is so special about it?

Shea butter is an oil derived from the African Karite Tree. It has been used extensively in African countries to heal irritated skin and soothe stretch marks. Unique to shea butter is it’s high content of non-saponifiable fats, which means much of the shea butter does not turn into soap and is available as a moisturizing element in the soap. Shea butter is added to the majority of our products.

What ingredients do you use?

We use natural ingredients such as Calendula Infused Rice Bran Oil, Olive oil, Coconut Oil and Shea Butter. Contains no urea, lanolin or parabens. Fragrance free and Preservative free.
